Here at DFTSEOTN we have a tradition of celebrating the birthdays of people who have made a difference in the CKD world. Today I am happily writing a birthday post for that guy in the picture on the right. Bill was suddenly thrust into the world of CKD over 20 years ago when just out of college he was diagnosed with FSGS.
Rather than spend the rest of his life as a patient in a chair, Bill became a Dialyzor. He is active in his profession, active in medical reform, active in trying to make the dialysis unit a better place, active in promoting home hemo, active on the web almost since the beginning, all in between some amazing vacations that make urinators green with envy. All while maintaining his health on dialysis, whether it meant dialyzing in a private unit in Australia, in a bed in France, at a clinic in South Africa, at 2am in Seattle, by the pool in Florida, a motel in Montana or on a boat off the coast of Washington, sharing his dialyzor adventures with us by blogging all along the way.

Bill, Happy Birthday and many, many more!!!! Your inspiration and support is appreciated by all. Roberta
