The Voice Expeditions Nephrology Project interviews are great. I think Kamal will be interested in hearing Dr. Blagg discuss the early days of dialysis in Seattle and by extension the early days of dialysis. At the 27 minute mark Dr. Blagg remarks:
These interviews are great. Dr. Blagg in addition to being emeritus executive director of Northwest Kidney
Centers, is the new editor of Hemodialysis International, the official
journal of the International Society of Hemodialysis.

Oh my god! This is unbelievable! I must hear that interview soon. I wonder if it will be possible to get the name and contact details of the person or his progeny!

I just read a part of the transcript. There's a whole lot there about India. Apparently Dr. Blagg visited India a couple of times to treat a Chief Minister and another famous politician. The home dialysis person died in a year or so.

I remember Dr. Scribner and Dr. Blagg talking about this man from India.
I trained at the Coach House for Home Dialysis in the summer of 1968. We dialyzed over night, once we took our machine home. Drs. Scribner, Blagg and Eschbach were there. I had my training with man from the Philippines. My mother had him and his wife for dinner with us several times but I can't remember their names. Maybe Dr. Blagg remembers them.

Nancy you have a mention in Dr. Sherrard's interview. Too bad we don't have a record like this from Scribner and Eschbach; I'm glad it's being done before any other memories are lost.
