Dialysis unit water treatment system
2008 image the filtering tanks used in a modern dialysis unit's water treatment system. The system includes (from left to right) a brine tank, a sediment filter, a water softener and two carbon filters. This is used to make water pure enough to meet AAMI standards for use in dialysis.
